Danilo da Silva Mussagy Ibraimo, most known as “Danilo da Silva” was born in Quelimane, Zambezia – Mozambique in 1980. In June 2006, put an article on the web, that was the start for the Mozambican LGBTI movement that said: “Let’s talk! About what everybody does, but doesn’t talk about. About what we all know, but we pretend that we don’t…About what “wise” ones say we don’t have here. That is imported. Let’s talk about homosexuality here in our land. I challenge you to talk openly… Archangel”. Since October 13th 2006, he’s been representing the only Mozambique LGBTI group - LAMBDA. Since 2007 he is an Executive Board member for Africa of ILGA, the International Lesbian and Gay Association. He works on the IT field as a software developer and web designer.

ILGA Asia is the Asian Region of the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA). It gathers 66 organizations throughout the region working for human rights and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people.
