Patricia Prendiville

Executive DirectorPatricia is Executive Director of ILGA-Europe since October, 2004. Previously, Patricia worked in Meitheal, a Community Development Support and Training organisation in Ireland, which she co-founded in 1994. She has worked in the area of equality and social change in England and Ireland for over 20 years – as facilitator, change agent, lecturer, trainer and organiser, and has degrees in Psychology, Women’s Studies and Organisational Development. Programmes DirectorAfter graduating from Moldovan State University with dual-degrees in journalism and communication sciences, Max has devoted all of his professional life to the LGBT movement. He led the team that created the LGBT movement in Moldova; developing it into a respected and powerful national and regional organization. Policy DirectorChristine is working in several areas, such as monitoring the development of the EU human rights agenda and institutions, the human rights clauses in EU's association, trade and development agreements with third countries and the EU enlargement. Juris Lavrikovs

Communications ManagerJuris is originally from Latvia, but joined the office from London where he worked for the leading British lesbian, gay and bisexual rights organisation Stonewall. Initially Juris worked for Stonewall’s Citizenship 21 project which addressed the issues of multiple-discrimination and provided capacity building support for community organisations. Olimpia Ciripoiu-Vonica

Finance & Administrative ManagerOriginally from Romania, Olimpia has joined ILGA-Europe’s team in December 2006. Prior to joining ILGA-Europe, she worked as Researcher for the Advisory department of Pricewaterhouse Coopers Romania and as Admin/Finance Assistant for Peace Corps Romania. She graduated from the Masters programme in Economics, Central European University (Hungary) in 2005 and holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Academy of Economic Studies, Romania. Her areas of expertise are economics and gender inequality in the labour markets.

Evelyne Paradis

Senior Policy & Programmes Officer As senior policy and programmes officer, Evelyne works on non-discrimination and equalopportunities (implementation of the Employment Equality Directive, theEuropean Year on Equal Opportunities) and on the EU social policy agenda(social inclusion process, health, Lisbon strategy). Michael Forrest

Communications OfficerOriginally from Northern Ireland, Michael studied Modern Languages (German/French) in Edinburgh, Scotland, and subsequently worked in Leipzig and Düsseldorf, Germany for many years as a technical translator. Camille Lambinon

Finance & Administration OfficerCamille is originally from France and joined ILGA-Europe’s team in June 2008. Prior to joining ILGA-Europe, Camille analysed life conditions in old peoples’ homes for the Lyons County. She also worked as a volunteer in different LGBT associations. She graduated from the Human Rights Master’s programme in Strasbourg (thesis on EU actions to improve human rights in China) and holds a Bachelor Degree in International law from Leiden University (Netherlands).

ILGA Asia is the Asian Region of the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA). It gathers 66 organizations throughout the region working for human rights and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people.
