London Transgender Film Festival and Fundraiser 2008
We are happy to announce the London Transgender Film Festival on the 7, 8 & 9 Nov 2008 at the Ritzy Picturehouse in London.
This much needed festival is long overdue. Currently there are no film festivals dedicated to transgender issues in London, until now.
Transgender art does not usually get the recognition it deserves which is our incentive for organising this festival. We are trans people who want to showcase the work of other trans people, their friends, partners and allies.
We are currently accepting submissions for the Festival. please check the website for full details

We will be holding a fundraiser on Sun Aug 24 at the Gasworks in London. Please come and support this event!
International Youth Exchange
Want to travel with your eyes?
Young But Not Straight (Wel Jong Niet Hetero), the largest LGBT youth movement in Belgium is organising an international exchange from the 13th until the 21st July 2008 in Ghent. The exchange is supported by the youth programme of the European Union and is an unique project.
Young participants between 18 and 25 years of age from different European countries are representing their country and their organisation. By experiencing our culture and diversity, a reflection process will start. All those impressions are going to be put on camera. We would like to share the results of this with you during the Festival of Ghent, in co-operation with Casa Rosa.
We would like to invite everyone on the official opening of our picture exhibition, on 20th July 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at the headquarters of WJNH/YBNS: Casa Rosa - Kammerstraat 22, 9000 Ghent. Of course, we will provide a toast and a drink. At 10:00 p.m. the festivities can continue to Cocteau, where we are organising an international youth party.
If you would like to join us, please confirm your attendance to teaminternationaal@weljongniethetero.be, so we can fill up the fridge!
Hope to see you there!

27 Pictures of Pride Photo Exhibition
With pictures from Gay Pride events around the EU the stark contrast between two different aspects of the festival will be highlighted. On the one hand, what a fantastic street party the parade is. On the other hand, the hatred and resistance that the Gay Pride parade continues to be met with from rock-throwing hooligans and narrow-minded politicians around Europe.
Christofer Fjellner, MEP cordially invites you to the photo exhibition
